About Fjora Resort
In the familiar Brabant soil where we, Nikki and Britt, were born and raised, we are proudly building our small-scale vacation park: Fjora Resort. Nestled in the greenery of Oirschot, right next to De Kampina nature reserve, we are creating a place where relaxation comes naturally. Our vacation park features forty modern, detached homes with plenty of privacy and private wellness amenities such as a hot tub or private pool. Fjora Resort is designed especially for those seeking peace and quiet and for families who want to escape the daily hustle and bustle for a while and consciously enjoy space, nature, and each other’s company.

Where Relaxation Begins
As a family-owned business, we are at the heart of everything Fjora is meant to be. From the park’s design to the experience of our future guests, we want every decision to contribute to a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The fact that we’ll soon be welcoming guests to the place where our own roots lie makes this especially meaningful to us. We look forward to welcoming you in person soon at our park, Fjora!

Our Story
The story behind our vacation park goes back three generations. Long ago, our grandfather cleared the land here with his own hands, so that our father could later build a farm here. For years, we looked out over our family’s land, but the surroundings changed with the times: farmland around De Kampina increasingly gave way to valuable natural areas. When our parents reached an age where they wanted to slow down, we—as the new generation—decided not to cling to the past, but to look at what was possible.
We know better than anyone how special this place is. The vastness, the tranquility, and the greenery we experienced as children are a tremendous luxury today. Starting in February 2027, we want to share that feeling with our guests. That vision is also reflected in our name. We searched for a long time for a name that reflects our dream. That’s how “Fjora” came to be: a combination of “Flora” (nature) and “You.” In our logo, you’ll recognize two figures embracing each other in the letters F and J; with us, nature and you embrace each other. Because we place a high priority on quality and reliability, our vacation park is a member of the HISWA-Recron trade association.

What We Stand For
At our vacation park, we consciously do things differently. No mass tourism, no loud entertainment team, and no mandatory check-in days. We believe in ultimate freedom and a small-scale atmosphere:
Our forty accommodations are spacious and surrounded by natural vegetation. The four-person units all come standard with an en suite bathroom for each bedroom.
Our Family Lodges are located right next to a well-organized, fenced-in playground. This way, children can play carefree while parents relax and watch from their private terrace.
Half of our resort houses our central facilities, a water treatment system, and 600 solar panels with battery storage on the roof of the warehouse.
Digital check-in is easy with us, but at our front desk, we’re always ready to welcome you with a smile, fresh coffee, tips for local outings, and honest advice.
A place that feels like coming home
Our Team
Fjora Resort is a close-knit family business. We don’t run our vacation park from behind an anonymous desk; we’re the faces on-site who make sure every detail is just right.
- Nikki & Britt Rijnen – Owners and Hostesses: We’re the daily point of contact for our guests, manage the day-to-day operations at the resort, and welcome you at the front desk. Nikki’s favorite spot on the grounds is the natural swimming pond with its sandy beach and sunbathing area. You’ll most likely find Britt at the bocce courts for a casual game.
- Luuk Rijnen – Behind-the-Scenes Management: Our brother Luuk provides behind-the-scenes support with technical matters, grounds management, and logistics.

Our Surroundings
Our vacation park is located right on the scenic De Beerze stream valley, with De Kampina literally in our backyard. Our favorite local hidden gem is just a stone’s throw away: cross the road at our park and walk downstream along the babbling stream to the historic watermill dating from 1844.
- De Kampina Nature Reserve: right next to our park
- Historic watermill on De Beerze: 0.8 km
- Oirschot Historic Market: 4.5 km
- Oisterwijk Forests and Marshes: 6 km
- Tilburg City Center: 19 km
